Sea cave beside the shore
Our film's director came here to check it out first. He thought the location was perfect for the film because of its bleak scenery and sea cave.
After doing more research, the director and I decided that this would serve as the setting for an important part of the film's story.
Due to how far the location was from any car park, we had to keep our camera package very light. We also used the Surf School building as the unit base.
The tide was also a huge safety and time concern, with the production team always keeping an eye.
Over our three days here, there were a lot of different factors. Fortunately, the weather wasn't too bad, however the footprints on the beach needed to be brushed off with each take.
